Labour Law

Introduction

The Labour Law Area by joining efforts with judges, lawyers and experts in different fields, offers an huge range of courses in different fields: Employment Law, Labour Law, Advanced Private Labour Law, Advanced Public Labour Law, Social Security Law and  Industrial Safety and Health Law, European Labour Law and Comparative Labour Law. The last two courses are taught in English.

The Area is composed by 2 Full Professors and 4 Adjunct Professors in addition to other  teaching assistants  and PhD fellows and counts numerous collaborations with foreign Professors such as: Professor Ulrich Runggaldier University of Vienna, Professor Francisco Pérez de los Cobos Orihuel University of Madrid, Prof. Filip Dorssemont Univesrsity of Leuven, Prof. Antoine Jacobs, University of Tilburg. As experience has proven that the interaction between members of the faculty and the legal profession is essential, every year the Area organizes seminars, conferences and lectures with the aim to promote an open discussion on specific topics.

The Area has a very extensive library, which due to its special characteristics, attracts many Italian and foreign scholars.

The Area takes part to the University Ph.D. Programme in the area of Labour and Employment Law and offers a postgraduate course for lawyers supervised by Prof. Maria Teresa Carinci.
